A 50-acre historic estate in Canandaigua with nine themed gardens, a Victorian mansion, and a greenhouse complex. Families can walk through flower gardens, picnic on the grounds, and tour the house and gardens with guides. The gardens include a Japanese garden with teahouse, period garden statuary, and an old-fashioned garden. The mansion and grounds were originally built as a summer home and have been restored and open to the public since 1973.
A membership to Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
