A 1000-acre property in rural New York combining gardens, hiking trails, and a historic house. Families can walk the grounds, explore the classical garden, and join tours of the main and carriage houses (reservations required). The estate also hosts performances and artist residencies throughout the year. Day and season passes are available for access to the trails and gardens. The site asks visitors to book ahead to keep the experience unhurried.
