About this place
The Sand Trap is a classic 18-hole mini golf course in Ship Bottom on Long Beach Island, running since 1975. Families and kids of various ages putt through a course built with fun obstacles, and in 2025 the whole course got new turf for smoother, updated greens. It is a straightforward, casual outing suited to families, friends, and couples looking to spend an hour outdoors together. The course is open seasonally, from spring break through mid-October.
