About this place
The Sand Trap is an 18-hole mini golf course on Long Beach Island in Ship Bottom, NJ, run by the same family since 1975. Kids and adults putt through a classic course with obstacles, recently refreshed with all-new turf installed in 2025 for smoother, easier play. The layout is designed to challenge players of any age, so it works well for a family outing, a group of friends, or a couples' date. It is open seasonally, from spring break through mid-October.
