Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
Reiman Gardens is a botanical garden in Ames that invites families to walk through themed outdoor spaces, including a tropical butterfly wing where hundreds of live butterflies fly freely. The gardens host seasonal events and exhibitions throughout the year, from large-scale art installations in summer to jack-o-lantern displays and Halloween activities in autumn. Visitors can also purchase children's books and merchandise at the gift shop, and the gardens run educational programs and classes for families.
A membership to Reiman Gardens – Iowa State University carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
