About this place

A 10-acre garden in the Berkeley hills dedicated to California native plants, including rare and endangered species. Families can walk among trees, shrubs, wildflowers, and grasses representing plant communities across the state. The garden runs free guided butterfly walks led by a naturalist (registration required), and offers special sensory tours where visitors can touch leaves, smell plants, and spot wildlife along Wildcat Creek. A plant sale happens annually in the fall.

If you are a member here

A membership to Regional Parks Botanic Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
