Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A botanical garden with 2.5 miles of walking trails and diverse plant collections from the Houston region. Families can stroll through display gardens and natural areas, stopping to look closely at plants grown for education and research. The garden runs educational programs and hands-on activities for children and adults. The "ViewPoints" exhibit highlights both well-known spots and less obvious corners throughout the grounds, while another exhibit explores how habitats support life and what visitors can do to help protect them. General admission gives access to the trails and gardens, though some programs and tours cost extra.
A membership to Houston Botanic Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
