A working railway museum in Jamestown with restored steam and diesel locomotives that visitors can ride through the Gold Country hills. The park centers on the Sierra Railway Shops, a California Historical Landmark, and includes a functioning roundhouse where trains are prepared for service. Families can explore the historic grounds daily, watch the locomotives being readied, or board excursion trains. Free parking is available on site, and the grounds are accessible to people with disabilities, though the vintage train cars have some restrictions.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
