Plug In is a contemporary art gallery in Winnipeg that opened in 1972 and presents exhibitions of current work by artists including photographers and visual practitioners. Families can visit the galleries during opening hours to see the displayed exhibitions. The venue also runs education and outreach programs as part of its work supporting artists and exploring what contemporary art means and how it connects to community.
A membership to Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
