The Chicago Mosaic School (CMS) is a nonprofit art space dedicated to fostering personal and community transformation with access to mosaic education, exhibition, and collaborative engagement through outreach and public projects. CMS is committed to advocating for mosaic art by providing opportunities through academic, innovative and inspirational creative approaches. The school aims to increase awareness and appreciation for the art form while creating an open, supportive, and inclusive community for sharing expertise and learning. In addition to CMS, the Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics (GoCM) exhibits internationally renowned masters, emerging and established contemporary mosaic artists. GoCM promotes artists employing exemplary conceptual and technical excellence through a multitude of approaches and materials. In the US, contemporary mosaics are relatively unrecognized as a fine art; GoCM provides a space for highly coveted artists to exhibit in our state of the art facility.
