Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A botanical garden across 65 acres of cultivated beds and woodland, located in Oakdale near Pittsburgh. Families can walk the grounds to see flowering plants and aquatic specimens, including American Lotus in the pond. The garden hosts a temporary exhibition of dinosaur sculptures made from salvaged materials, on display through October 2026. There are education programs for children on gardening and natural history, and a cafe serving food. The garden also runs special events featuring live music and guided tours through specific planted areas.
A membership to Pittsburgh Botanic Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
