Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A botanic garden at Tibbs Run Preserve with walking trails connecting planted areas, natural landscape, and art installations. Families can explore the grounds on foot using printed maps, join children's programs including week-long summer camps that run each July, and attend seasonal workshops and festivals. The visitor center and cafe operate Thursday to Sunday. A modest donation supports the non-profit garden. The site also features an outdoor art exhibition about modernist artist Blanche Lazzell and her connections to West Virginia landscape and place.
A membership to The West Virginia Botanic Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
