The Midway is the carnival section of the Oklahoma State Fair grounds, where kids can ride rides and play games alongside the fair's food, livestock exhibits, live entertainment stages and shows. It runs during fair hours, generally 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Any fairgoer under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or a chaperone age 25 or older after 5 p.m., and ID may be checked. Carnival armbands and admission are cheaper if bought before the fair officially opens, with prices rising to regular rates once the gates open for the season.
