About this placeOaks Amusement Park is a historic riverside amusement park in Portland's Sellwood neighborhood, running since 1905, with rides ranging from gentle kiddie attractions to bigger thrill rides plus a midway of classic carnival games and arcades. Families can also visit the scenic mini golf course at the north end of the property or head indoors to the park's famous roller rink, which offers public skating sessions, lessons, and party packages year round. There's a preschool skate session on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings with toddler music, a group lesson, and games, and strollers are allowed on the rink floor during that time. Rides, mini golf, and midway games run seasonally from Oregon spring break through Halloween, while the roller rink stays open all year. The park sits about 10 minutes from downtown Portland near the Sellwood Bridge, and daily parking runs up to $5.
