About this placeChadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens is a 30-acre outdoor green space on the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, open to families for walking, picnicking, birdwatching and fishing. Kids can explore the Cultivar Trial Gardens where ornamental plants are grown and evaluated, wander a Chartres-style labyrinth along Lane Avenue, and see the student-built enCORE Solar House near the willows by the water. The grounds are open year round from dawn to dusk with no admission fee, and guided tours can be scheduled in advance. Visitors park in the surrounding Pay-n-Display or Pay-by-Plate lots near Howlett Hall, with payment also possible through the Parkmobile app.
A membership to Ohio State University Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
