About this place
A historic property near Charleston with gardens, nature trails, and educational tours about the region's history and ecology. Families can walk through more than six miles of paths, including a 13-acre boardwalk through a swamp garden with wildlife viewing opportunities. The site includes a historic house from 1874, a wildlife center, and guided experiences such as nature train rides and themed tours covering local history and the lives of those who worked the plantation.
