A historic Victorian-style glasshouse at Wright Park in Tacoma that displays tropical and exotic plants. Families can walk through permanent collections of ferns, palms, orchids, bromeliads and other rare species, along with rotating floral displays. The surrounding 27-acre park includes mature trees, a playground and sprayground for children, making it possible to combine a visit to the conservatory with outdoor play. The building, opened in 1908, is one of only three public Victorian conservatories remaining on the West Coast.
A membership to W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
