A museum in Tacoma housing more than 300 vehicles from a vast private collection of American automobiles and related objects. Families can walk through the collection to see cars spanning the twentieth century, with rotating exhibitions and educational programs for children. The 165,000 square-foot building opened in 2012 and focuses on how the automobile shaped American culture and experience.
