A museum in Jackson displaying art and artefacts from Muslim cultures across history and continents. Visitors can see Quranic calligraphy, textiles, ceramics, manuscripts, and contemporary works by artists from around the world. The permanent collections explore early Islamic history and the literary traditions of Timbuktu, while changing exhibitions have addressed topics including coexistence between different communities and current global events. The museum is closed Mondays and on certain religious holidays.
A membership to International Museum of Muslim Cultures carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
