A museum in New Albany exploring the history and culture of Union County, Mississippi. The indoor galleries and outdoor exhibit area called Frenchman's Bend feature reconstructed buildings like a country store, blacksmith shop, doctor's office and 1950s auto body shop, alongside gardens and displays about local life and heritage. There is also a pottery studio, a literary garden dedicated to William Faulkner, and a nearby railroad park with a viewing deck where families can watch trains pass. The museum occupies two city blocks and includes a library and gift shop.
A membership to Union County Heritage Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
