About this place
Ice on the Landing is a seasonal outdoor ice rink set up under a covered roof at the First Horizon Pavilion in Chattanooga's Southside during the holiday season. Kids and adults skate together for 60-minute sessions, with skate rentals included in the admission price, and rink guides on hand to help first-timers get comfortable on the ice. Younger or less confident skaters can rent a plastic skate buddy for extra support, and skating lessons are also offered for kids who want to build skills. Regular admission runs $14 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under, rising to $16.50 and $14.50 on holidays, and while reservations are not required, booking ahead is recommended since sessions can sell out. Families should plan to arrive 30 minutes early to check in, get fitted for skates, and complete a waiver.
