About this place
Ice in Paradise is a full-size ice rink in Goleta offering public skating sessions, learn-to-skate classes, and figure skating and hockey lessons for beginners through advanced skaters. Kids can join youth hockey programs like Young Norqs and the Jr. Hawks Rec league, sign up for hockey or skating camps, or attend Stick & Puck sessions, while adults have their own leagues and clinics. The rink hosts birthday parties, private events, and a STEM field trip that pairs a science lesson and rink tour with on-ice skating time, available in English and Spanish. After skating, families can grab snacks, light meals, pizza, and drinks at the on-site Rinkside Cafe, and there is also a Success Center with study space and volunteer tutors for kids balancing schoolwork with rink time.
