About this place
A free zoo in Madison, Wisconsin, home to animals including reticulated giraffes. Families can visit the giraffe pavilion to watch the herd up close and learn about their adaptations, including at a feeding platform where visitors can see the animals being fed. The zoo features interactive signs throughout the grounds explaining conservation work and animal care. A new indoor space called the Herd Room allows year-round visits and shows how the veterinary team works with the giraffes on their healthcare.
