GLBT Historical Society Museum

$6
4127 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA

About this place

A museum in San Francisco's Castro District dedicated to LGBTQ history and culture. The museum opened in 2011 and holds two gallery spaces: a main exhibition called "Queer Past Becomes Present" and a rotating front gallery showing different themes. Families can explore the archives and purchase an audioguide to the permanent exhibition through an app. The museum shop sells books, clothing, pins and postcards. Visitors can reserve timed tickets online or arrive as walk-ins when capacity allows.

If you are a member here

A membership to GLBT Historical Society Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in these programs.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
