Glacier Rock Farms

Glacier Rock Farms is a family-run petting zoo and farm near Ixonia, Wisconsin, run by the Schilling family since 2000. Kids can meet farm animals in the petting zoo, take pony rides, ride the hayride trail past kettle ponds and glacial drumlins, and try the hand-cut corn maze. The dairy barn is home to a milking cow named Dottie, and spring tours let children see newborn baby animals up close. In fall the farm is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Sept. 26 through Oct. 25), and it also hosts classroom field trips, private parties, and an evening haunted hayride called The Dark Side Haunt for older kids and families.
