A museum in Toronto devoted to ceramics and clay work. The collection spans historical pieces and contemporary art, with rotating exhibitions exploring how artists push the boundaries of the material. Families can try clay outdoors for free, and the museum offers pottery classes for all skill levels, including summer camps where children learn hand-building, wheel-throwing, and glazing. There is a café serving seasonal food, a shop selling handmade ceramics and other crafts by local makers, and the building is designed to be accessible to visitors with disabilities.
A membership to Gardiner Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
