About this place

A museum in Fredericksburg, Virginia, housed in a historic building from 1816, dedicated to collecting and interpreting the region's history over ten thousand years. Families can see exhibitions about the city's role in the American Revolution and its African American heritage, join monthly book clubs exploring Revolutionary history, attend special events and programs throughout the year, and take part in educational activities designed for school groups and young people. The museum also runs concerts in historic Market Square during spring and fall.

If you are a member here

A membership to Fredericksburg Area Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
