A museum on a 19th-century military fort site where families explore the history of the Inland Northwest. Five large exhibit halls hold displays about the Oregon Trail, early settlement, farming, and the Washington State Penitentiary, alongside artifacts like a historic locomotive and a stagecoach. Visitors can walk through a Pioneer Village of 17 restored buildings, listen to an audio tour at their own pace, or watch Living History performances. The museum also runs heritage skills classes in traditional crafts and hosts monthly evening talks.
A membership to Fort Walla Walla Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
