Free or discounted entry for members of Time Travelers.
A historic site in Mendota preserving four limestone buildings from Minnesota's early fur-trading era, dating from the 1820s to 1850s. The structures include homes of prominent traders Henry Hastings Sibley and Jean-Baptiste Faribault, positioned on a bluff overlooking the Minnesota River near Historic Fort Snelling. Families can join guided tours offered seasonally, explore a small museum shop, and learn about the region's Dakota people and the American Fur Company's role in early settlement. The site operates weekends during summer months and offers special tours for school groups.
A membership to Dakota County Historical Society-Sibley Historic Site carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
