About this place

The Cyrus Dallin Art Museum seeks to promote new insights into our shared history by exploring the life, work, and values of a celebrated sculptor. The Museum is located in the heart of Arlington, just six miles from Boston, and along the route of Paul Revere’s ride and the April 1775 Revolutionary Battle Road. Cyrus Dallin was an educator and artist, a self-made man who embraced both his western frontier heritage and the cultural centers of Boston and Paris. He was a passionate advocate for social justice, particularly for America’s native peoples. His sculptures immortalize the ideals he admired; the dignity he saw in all individuals is expressed in his evocative sculptures. Sculptures on display include Appeal to the Great Spirit , The Scout , Menotomy Hunter , Lethe , Angel Moroni , Mother & Child , Gov. Bradford , Julia Ward Howe , and Paul Revere .

If you are a member here

A membership to Cyrus Dallin Art Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
