About this placeThe Frick Collection is an art museum housed in the Henry Clay Frick family's former Gilded Age mansion on East 70th Street in Manhattan. Families can walk through the historic 1914 residence to see Old Master paintings, European sculpture, and decorative arts spanning the Renaissance through the late nineteenth century. The building recently underwent a major renovation, completed in spring 2025, which added new gallery spaces and improved accessibility while preserving the mansion's original rooms. Advance timed tickets are required to visit, though members can enter free without a reservation. The site also houses the Frick Art Research Library, one of the world's leading art history research centers.
A membership to The Frick Collection carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
