Ages 6–12
320 Laurel St, Brainerd, MN 56401, USA

About this place

A local history museum operating since 1927, housed in a three-storey building in Brainerd, Minnesota. Families can explore exhibits covering Crow Wing County's past, including displays on the Northern Pacific Railway's role in the town's development and a restored law office with historical artefacts. The attached research library holds extensive genealogical records and historical documents. The museum also provides access to digitised newspapers from the 1870s and 1880s, video interviews with long-time county residents, and various downloadable historical booklets about local topics.

If you are a member here

A membership to Crow Wing Historical Society and Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
