About this placeThis small local museum preserves and shares the history of Cass County, Minnesota, through hands-on historical displays. Kids can peek into a recreated late 1800s kitchen complete with a wood stove and butter churn, and see the tools once used by blacksmiths, coopers, cobblers, wheelwrights, and carpenters. It is open seasonally, Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM between early May and the end of September, with free will-donation admission. The museum also offers historical research services for a small fee for those wanting to dig deeper into local family or town history.
A membership to Cass County MN Museum and Historical Society carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
