About this placeCamden County Historical Society is a nonprofit museum and research center that has told the story of Camden County and Southern New Jersey since 1899. Visits center on Pomona Hall, home to the historical society since 1924, and the Charles S. Boyer building, which houses the Camden County Museum, a research library, and an auditorium. Families can view exhibits drawn from a collection with materials dating back to the 1700s, including a current exhibit of portraits and research documenting seventeen enslaved individuals held at Pomona Hall between 1726 and 1795. The museum offers educational programming aimed at students from elementary school through graduate level, and exhibits are open to the public Tuesday through Friday, 10am to 4pm, at 1900 Park Blvd in Camden.
A membership to Camden County Historical Society carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
