A museum in Sacramento's Old Sacramento district with one of North America's largest collections of historic locomotives and railroad equipment. Families can explore exhibits about how railroads transformed California and the nation, see the trains up close, and learn stories from the railroad era through displays and educational programs. The museum also offers train rides at certain times of year.
