The Buffalo Gap Historic Village | Taylor County History Center, located in Buffalo Gap, Texas, tells the story of the last fifty years of the West Texas frontier. Through interactive exhibits, educational programming, historic interpretation, and audio tours, guests experience the formative years when the region changed from the Wild West to civilized settlements. The iconic structure of the Village, the original Taylor County Courthouse, represents the presence of justice on the once untamed frontier. The collection includes over fifteen historic structures from the region and over 10,000 artifacts representing the material culture of West Texas.
A membership to Buffalo Gap Historic Village | Taylor County History Center carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
