The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum is a 501c3 organization located in Owensboro, Kentucky. The mission is to gather, preserve, exhibit and publicize the history, physical artifacts, and performance art connected to the roots and branches of bluegrass music. The vision is to be the world center for the presentation of the history, culture, and future of bluegrass music. The museum is the world’s only international repository for the artifacts and history of bluegrass music. The organization has advanced and supported humanities by communicating the rich history and heritage of bluegrass music through hands-on and research-based programs such as Bluegrass in the Schools, Group instrument lessons, concerts, museum tours, Video Oral History Project, camps, and more. The organization also publishes “Bluegrass Unlimited” magazine.
A membership to Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
