About this place
Zoom Flume is a water park in East Durham, NY, with a wide range of slides and pools for different ages and thrill levels. Kids can race down the twin-lane Rip Van Racer, spin through the bowl-shaped Typhoon Twister, ride the high-speed Wild River in a group raft, or brave the total-darkness turns of the Black Vortex. For calmer fun there is the Lagoon Activity Pool, a favorite with toddlers and young children, plus a wave pool called Riptide Cove and a slow-moving Lazy River for floating on a tube. Some slides have weight limits, ranging from 225 to 250 pounds for solo riders and up to 375 pounds for two people together. The park also offers group event packages with food and cabana options for bigger outings.
