Zoo Safari Usa

Zoo Safari USA is an animal rescue and educational facility in rural Locust Grove that gives permanent homes to exotic and unwanted pets, from snakes to a large Savannah monitor lizard, after nursing them back to health. Historically the facility offered free walk-through tours where families could ask questions and touch some of the resident animals up close. Currently the organization has stopped allowing on-site visitors for the animals' safety, but its staff still travels out to schools, daycares, assisted living facilities, and birthday parties for hands-on educational programs with their animal ambassadors. Everything is funded through donations rather than admission fees, so parents interested in booking a visit or lecture for their child's school or event would need to contact them directly rather than plan an in-person zoo outing.
