Free or discounted entry for members of AZA Reciprocal Admissions.
Zoo Knoxville houses more than 1,500 animals across 200 species in habitats throughout East Tennessee. Families can see red pandas, gibbons, langurs, river otters, chimpanzees, gorillas, lions, baboons, tigers, and crocodiles, among others. The zoo offers close encounters with specific animals, including a red panda viewing area and a gibbon encounter two storeys up. River otters are noted as particularly active throughout the day. The zoo participates in conservation breeding programs for Malayan tigers and red pandas, and contributes to species survival efforts through partnerships with other zoos.
A membership to Zoo Knoxville carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
