Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A public garden in the northwest Bronx overlooking the Hudson River, with flower beds, an alpine house, and greenhouses alongside a cultural center. Families can walk the gardens, join children's programs that encourage curiosity and creativity through nature and art, and attend seasonal events suited to different ages. The garden also runs talks, walks and workshops for adult learners, and offers school group visits with nature-based teaching tied to science, social studies and the arts.
A membership to Wave Hill carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
