About this place
Wantec VR is a downtown Greenville arcade built around virtual reality and simulator gaming rather than traditional games. Visitors can try free-roam VR adventures, VR escape rooms in a media lounge, watch parties, and Rock Band sessions, plus a realistic RaceRoom racing simulator that uses full-body motion-capture technology. Classic consoles like the Switch, Wii, PS1, and Xbox are set up around the space for free play, and there is a full food menu along with a beer and liquor selection. Every Wednesday at 5pm the venue hosts a Racing League Night where top drivers compete for prizes, though the schedule occasionally shifts for special or corporate events.
