About this place
Vacaville Ice Sports is a neighborhood ice rink offering public skating sessions nearly every day, along with figure skating and hockey programs for all ages and skill levels. Beginners can start with lessons that build fundamental skating skills before moving into Learn to Play hockey and eventual youth or adult hockey leagues. Public skate sessions welcome newcomers, and skating aids are available to rent on a first-come basis, usually free of charge except during special events like Winter Wonderland. Non-skating companions can join a child on the ice as long as they wear skates and are accompanied by a responsible adult. After skating, families can grab a bite at Chilly's Café, which serves items like chicken pesto panini and fresh salads.
