Free or discounted entry for members of AZA Reciprocal Admissions.
A zoo in Utica housing lions, zebras, camels, otters, red pandas, eagles, and various other animals across multiple exhibits. Families walk through grounds with trails and landscaping to see the animals, which visitors describe as active and well cared for. The zoo also runs animal encounter experiences where educators introduce visitors to specific animals, and offers a children's zoo area, playground, and birthday party options. The site is compact enough to explore in a couple of hours without being exhausting.
A membership to Utica Zoo carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
