Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A 63-acre garden on the University of Idaho campus displaying plants that grow naturally or thrive in the Inland Pacific Northwest. The grounds feature both native species and introduced plants, with a main gravel loop road of about 1.4 miles and shorter trails branching off toward views across the arboretum and toward the Blue Mountains. Families can walk the paths, rest at benches along the way, and attend seasonal events like an autumn pumpkin hunt. The university offers guided tours for groups and schools with a few days' notice.
A membership to University of Idaho Arboretum & Botanical Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
