Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A garden dedicated entirely to clematis vines, containing nearly 2,500 individual plants representing over 960 distinct varieties. Visitors can walk through the garden year-round to see the flowers, which range from large blooms to tiny blossoms, star-shaped whites, rosy trumpets, and purple forms. Even outside the flowering season, the decorative seed heads are worth seeing. The collection is free to enter and open daily from dawn to dusk. It began in 1971 when Brewster Rogerson, an English professor, started acquiring clematis varieties; the garden itself was established at its current location in West Linn in 2005.
A membership to Rogerson Clematis Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
