Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A 25-acre botanical garden in Traverse City with plantings that emphasize native Michigan species. Families can wander the grounds year-round, explore habitats created for wildlife, and visit the gift shop. Free guided tours led by volunteers run from April through October. The garden sits within Historic Barns Park and features a feature called the tunnel of love. Various events happen throughout the year, both in person and online.
A membership to The Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
