About this place
Speedway Indoor Karting is an arrive-and-drive go-kart track in Speedway, Indiana, where racers are timed and ranked by lap time rather than raced head-to-head for position. Karts are split into junior and adult classes that never race together, though an adult can use a junior kart if it fits, and a two-seater option lets a guest ride along while an SIK manager drives. Closed-toe shoes and the provided safety gear are required, and guests may bring their own full-face helmet. First-time visitors pay a one-time $10 license fee good for a year, which also gets them a free race on their birthday. Karts are gas powered, and the facility notes a ventilation system that cycles the air through the building every few minutes.
