Savannah Children’s Museum

Savannah Children's Museum sits across the street from the Savannah History Museum and in front of the Georgia State Railroad Museum, on the site of a Revolutionary War battle, so it pairs easily with a history-focused day rather than standing alone. The current exhibition, "Loyalists & Liberty: Savannah in the American Revolution," includes 17 restored cannons and artifacts recovered from the Savannah River, and the museum runs battlefield tours that end with a musket firing demonstration. Pricing is inconsistent in what's published: general admission is listed at $16 per person for ages 18 months and up, with a Family rate at $125, an Individual rate at $65, and a Student rate at $35. The museum has restrooms, allows outside food, has parking, and is wheelchair-accessible. It's open 9am to 2pm every day except Tuesday, when it's closed.
