About this place
Riley Arena is Cody's community ice rink, running as a skating facility from mid-August through March before switching to other events for the rest of the year. It serves as home base for several local youth programs, including the Park County Youth Hockey Association, the Yellowstone Quake Tier III Junior Hockey Team, and the Cody and Heart Mountain figure skating clubs, so kids can get involved in learn-to-skate, hockey, or figure skating activities here. The facility is run by a nonprofit, the Park County Arena Board, with a stated mission of keeping kids on the ice. Outside of the ice season, the venue also hosts community events, athletics, concerts, and shows.
